French Studio organised a professional wine tasting for students at Toots Brasserie, a French brasserie in The Sultan Hotel. The evening was designed to combine language practice with French culture, food and wine vocabulary.
French wine vocabulary in context
Students tasted French wines, enjoyed homemade canapes and amuse-bouches, and learned how to describe wine using words such as le bouquet, la robe and le plaisir. Guillaume, the wine expert, explained the origin, history and taste of each wine.
